In 1999 enhanced gamma emission was produced by x-ray irradiation with statistical confidence approaching 6s when all three of the lines of the GSB were considered. The probability of this accidentally happening is 108 to 1 against.
Plotted here are the numbers of excess gamma photons detected with x-ray irradiation. The "0 Line" refers to zero excess obtained without x-rays.
